The Redline ads starring Fish
I know Brian Tunney pointed out this dumb ad in the April/May issue of Ride, but I can't help but echo his sentiments. Let's go down the list of what's wrong with this ad, realizing that the caption reads "Fish practicing his back stroke at Gasworks":
- Who the hell is Fish?
- Where the hell is Gasworks?
- The peg-to-peg decade he's doing is straight outta 1987. Who's calling it a "back stroke"?
- The hat. I just want to kill any cretin who wears one of those lame-ass jester hats.
In the next Redline ad, we'll see Fish wearing one of those equally-stupid "Cat in the Hat" hats, doing a Nourie handstand, with the caption "Fish perfecting his breast stroke at The Spot."
