SUIT UP AND WEAR THE RIGHT STUFF

A tried and true BMX expression goes, "The only time you'll fall on a specific part of your body is when you don't bother to protect it." To save your skin and bones from the nasty pain of munchin' and trashin': you've gotta wear proper clothing and protective gear. (Plus, all the stuff comes in real extreme colors and styles.) MUSTS for every radster are:

  1. Padded Helmets with permanently attached chin straps. You won't have to spend your life savings on a totally qual helmet. Really outrageous ones have air vents, washable linings and padded chin straps.
  2. Mouthguards for your chin, nose and mouth. These are lightweight and vented for max breathing (and no dust, dirt or flying objects).
  3. Long Sleeve Shirts with padded elbows or short sleeve shirts with industry-manufactured elbow guards.
  4. Long Pants made of heavy material. For heavy moto action, racing pants of stretch material with padded shins and knees are needed.
  5. Soft Sole Shoes give you good grip.

Recommended gear, 'specially for all-out, full-tilt riding:

  1. Visors - which attach to helmets
  2. Goggles - real cool lookin' shades keep out sun, dirt and glare
  3. Upper Face Masks - cover the upper nose and cheek
  4. Gloves - for intense handlebar grip
  5. Shoulder Pads - Awesome! You can fly high with armored shoulder pads.
