About the Video
Wire: 1989-1995 pools together 35 minutes of the best footage from Wire's four New England riding videos:
Documentary: New England (1989)
Buck-Whyrin' (1991)
Live Wire (1993)
Losers of the Year (1995)
No more fast-forwarding through the slow parts of those earlier videos. Lots of "historical" flatland, mini ramp, dirt, vert, and street riding. Many NE riders are represented:
Keith McElhinney, Joe Johnson, Jim Cavanaugh, Brian Chapman, Mike Rotondo, Kevin Robinson, Jared Souney, Josh Heino, Mark Florek, Brian Hobson, Mark Choquette, Rich Upjohn, Paul O'Hearn, Darren Pelio, Kurt Von Stetten, Adam Murphy, John Maul, and a lot more.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why make a video made up of old footage?
A: Because people have lost or worn out their copies of the videos I did, and they've asked me how they can get a replacement copy. I still have the originals, but those videos are pretty unwatchable now — they're long with a lot of crap to fast-forward through, the editing is mediocre, and the music's lame. Wire 1989-1995 is just the best 35 minutes of the 3+ hours of those videos.

Q: Who would want this video?
A: New England riders who lost or ruined their original Wire videos; New England riders who want a "historical record" of sorts of the scene between '88-'95; old school riders (past or present).

Q: Who would not want this video?
A: People looking for the most recent, cutting-edge riding crisply filmed with digital cameras and edited with a lot of fancy effects. Unless you're some BMX historian type, if you didn't ride during these years you probably won't be impressed with it.

Q: Why only 5 bucks for the video?
A: Because I didn't spend extra money on fancy boxes or packaging. Besides, I'm not trying to make a ton of money off of old footage — I just want to recover my costs.

Q: Will there be a DVD version?
A: No, not with such a small demand for this video.

Q: I have a question you didn't answer here!
A: Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments via the Contact eWire page.
