Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX

Hoffman's game was originally supposed to be released a month after Mirra's (last fall), but was pushed back to March 2001, which is why I waited to publish this article. Now it seems that the release date for Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX is May 2001. Personally, I think it's worth waiting a while and have them deliver a good, fun game, rather than rush a piece of crap out the door.

Already the demo that comes on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, although imperfect and kinda buggy, feels better than Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX (due in no small part to the Hawk engine that runs the game). So we'll have to wait until later this year to see if this is the better BMX video game ... which is good because I really didn't want to spend the spring in front of the TV.
